My roommate recently got engaged and asked me to do her engagement pictures. I didn't know what to expect and was really nervous, but they became the easiest couple to photograph. Very natural, and I think I only posed them 3 times. Good times.

They Grow Up So Fast

My baby sister is entering into her senior year in High School (when that happen?!) She asked me if I'd be willing to take her sr. pics for her, and of course I could do nothing less. Unfortunately, between her having plans very close to the shoot, and the impending rain, we only got a few. We will get more photos later, but for the mean time here are some of my favorites...

When the lights go out

When the power ceases to exist for a time, I find myself extremely BORED! That's usually when I realize how much I depend on electronics for my entertainment (which is quickly that's forgotten the moment the lights return). This last outage remembered I have a battery powered device to which one can capture still images with a quick click of a button. And so, I have discovered taking photos in the dark of night can be a lot of fun...not to mention a great way to pass the time until your mind decides to go unconscious. ;p
